We can’t believe it’s been 13 years since UCLA China Care Bruins started! When started, we had about 7 little buddies and 10 college volunteers. Now look at us! Our organization has expanded to about 40 little buddies and 55 college volunteers. The focus of China Care Bruins has added fundraising, outreach, and social aspects along with our mentorship concentration in the last 12 years. Here’s to another great year and the years to come!
We are so excited to announce that two of our very own members, Wendy Ao and Sadie Larson, will be volunteering in a OneSky medical care home for young children in China this summer, Summer 2018! Wendy Ao is a graduating Biology major at UCLA and has been involved in China Care Bruins for the past three years. She is excited about attending this trip and working with the children our organization has been supporting. Sadie Larson is a third year Electrical Engineering major who has a special connection with the children in China Care Bruins through her own adoption experience. The trip means an incredible deal to both of our members!
